Emergencies Vs. Maintenance

As your property management company, Professional Realty Group is committed to handling all maintenance issues in a timely manner. This communication is achieved via Propertyware on your Tenant Portal.

When we receive a maintenance request on the portal during regular office hours (Mon-Fri, 9:00AM-4:30PM), once we get owner approval, we will start arranging for the repair to be made ASAP. The repair time will vary depending on what needs to be done and the availability of the company we hire to do the work.

Unfortunately, not all repair issues come up during regular business hours. Granted, some situations are very inconvenient and may feel like emergencies, but in fact they are not. The vast majority will be addressed once our office opens on the next business day.

However, there are a few situations that can be considered as true emergencies that may merit after-hours attention. These could include:

  1. Gas leaks (call ATCO gas)

  2. Major water leak emergencies

  3. Backed up water in basement that can not wait until next business day

  4. Fire (call fire department if necessary)

  5. No heat/furnace failure during extremely cold temperatures

If it is indeed an emergency, please:

  1. Fill out a maintenance request on the Propertyware portal, providing as many details as possible

  2. Call for Russ at the emergency after-hours number (780-446-9200) to get further assistance

  • You will need to provide your name/address/and what the emergency is

  • NOTE: This number is to be called only when there is an actual emergency that can not wait to be addressed during regular business hours.
